What supplies you need:

Aquatic live plants
A glass jar
Small stones for aquarium
Freshwater

The step by step guide:

First of all, wash stones thoroughly with water.
Continue putting stones into the pot.
Wash plants into the water at room temperature.
Place plants and add stones to secure the roots and pots
To cover the plants carefully, add room temperature water.
If you have a lid in your jar, you’ll need to drill the holes in it or leave it entirely off.

Use fluorescent light instead of incandescent light, which will cause water to overheat, and eventually, your plants will be dead.
Don’t clean the jar with detergent; the presence of detergent in water can lead to the death of houseplants in water as it makes breathing difficult for plants.
Don’t completely replace the water because it again leads to algae growth, as once an algae cycle is over, it won’t grow again.
Water evaporates over a while from the bottle, and it has to be refilled accordingly.
Instead of usual outdoor fertilizers, use pebbles or fertilizer tablets.
Use charcoal bits in water as it makes water cleaner to get rid of bad odor.
